PICTURED RIGHT: Dr. Chelsea Hylton, 2019 Texas College Alumna
Texas College 2019 Alumna Dr. Chelsea Hylton recently completed her pharmacy degree at Xavier University of Louisiana. During pharmacy school, she worked as a pharmacy intern at Children’s Hospital New Orleans.
As a pharmacy student, she continued to excel, just as she had previously done at Texas College. Notably, she presented two poster presentations, one for the Southern Society for Clinical Investigation and the other for the Society of General Internal Medicine, and even published an article in the St. Louis Society of Health System Pharmacists Newsletter.
Now that she has earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree, often referred to as PharmD, she has entered her pharmacy residency at Baptist Memorial Hospital-Golden Triangle in Columbus, Mississippi, with clinical interests in oncology and emergency medicine.
