The Texas College Summer Transition Enrichment Program (S.T.E.P.) successfully prepared over 100 students for the upcoming fall semester. This six-week long program is an initiative for incoming freshmen that desire to get a head start on their college career. S.T.E.P. is designed to help acclimatize first-time freshmen to the College atmosphere while also providing them the opportunity to earn 12 credit hours before their first fall semester.
With a structured schedule, students stay on campus and attend class throughout the day, with special guest speakers every Friday, as well as leadership development and other campus involvement opportunities. Summarily, the program helps students adjust to collegiate life and prepare them with good habits to ensure a successful college career.
