Texas College is proud to announce that standout wide receiver Terrell Hookfin, Jr. has been selected to participate in the prestigious 2025 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl presented by the Black College Football Hall of Fame. This honor recognizes Hookfin's outstanding performance on the field, as well as his leadership, and dedication throughout the season.
The HBCU Legacy Bowl, a showcase of the best NFL draft-eligible talent from Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU), will provide Hookfin with an opportunity to display his skills on a national stage. His selection is a testament to his hard work and commitment to excellence, both in the classroom and on the field. The 2025 Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl is scheduled to kickoff at 3:00 P.M. (CT) on Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Yulman Stadium in New Orleans, Louisiana. The game will also be broadcast live on the NFL Network.
Hookfin's selection is notably historic, as he represents the first Allstate HBCU Legacy Bowl player to be selected from Texas College since the bowl game's inception in 2021.
